WELCOME!
Cascina Trapella is a working farm and agriturismo offering guest rooms and home-cooked meals, located in Roncaglia, a peaceful hamlet in the heart of Monferrato.
The earliest historical records of the farmhouse date back to the 17th century. Its restoration has preserved the identity and charm of the original building, retaining distinctive features such as solid brick vaulted ceilings and traditional masonry, while giving preference to natural and eco-friendly materials, including cork insulation and larch wood window and door frames.
Surrounded by more than 5 hectares of land, with gardens, woodland and organic crops, Cascina Trapella is an ideal place for those looking to enjoy a stay in Monferrato close to nature, far from the pace and noise of city life.
From the farmhouse, you can set out to discover the hills of Monferrato, its villages, vineyards and local wineries, tasting wines and local products directly where they are made.
An ideal base from which to experience Monferrato at a slower pace: nature, peace and quiet, beautiful landscapes, organic farming and authentic food and wine experiences.
We look forward to welcoming you!

PRODUCTS

Our small restaurant is in a wing of the main building of Cascina Trapella: here you can taste typical Piedmontese dishes prepared with ingredients 100% bio. Our simple cooking draws on local traditions and we use only seasonal products.
The cottage accommodation has four rooms.
With our own hundreds "Nashi" Asian Pear trees, we are able to supply our biological pears in its season. Nashi Pear flowers are white with five petals; they flower around April. The fruit is harvested in late summer and early fall. We also provide vegetables and fruits available in the different months of the year, made in Trapella or in neighbors farms (certified for Biological products).
